Misha Non Penguin

Whilst sat penniless and without a passport on a park bench in Berlin in late Summer 2011, Arvid, instead of feeling sorry for himself, decided to form a new band. He began to sing ideas into his phone whilst he waited on the Norwegian Embassy to make safe his passage back to his home in Oslo. His former band, I See Horses, had stalled due to varying work and homelife commitments. On his eventual return to Oslo he, along with the Scottish former I see horses vocalist David Coyle, bulked up his sketches from Berlin. The result of this will shortly be realized through the release of a full length album in Autumn of 2012.

Monzano is an indiepop quartet based in Oslo, Norway. Monzano is blending guitar-craftsmanship reminiscent of Built to Spill with swirling synthlines and driving rhythms, yet never losing touch with classic songwriting skills.
