Whilst sat penniless and without a passport on a park bench in Berlin in late Summer 2011, Arvid, instead of feeling sorry for himself, decided to form a new band. He began to sing ideas into his phone whilst he waited on the Norwegian Embassy to make safe his passage back to his home in Oslo. His former band, I See Horses, had stalled due to varying work and homelife commitments. On his eventual return to Oslo he, along with the Scottish former I see horses vocalist David Coyle, bulked up his sketches from Berlin. The result of this will shortly be realized through the release of a full length album in Autumn of 2012.

Monzano is an indiepop quartet based in Oslo, Norway. Monzano is blending guitar-craftsmanship reminiscent of Built to Spill with swirling synthlines and driving rhythms, yet never losing touch with classic songwriting skills. Their lyrical universe, with its poetic flakiness that swerves between sarcastic cynicism and hearts sewn firmly to their shirt sleeves, is also frequently mentioned as one of their strongholds.

While they now tear up the world as "Making Marks", MLP once numbered five and were one of the mainstays of the Oslo indie pop scene. The band released a single and an ep on Lazy Acre and two full length albums on Spoon Train Audio.

Norwegian songstress Solvor Vermeer (AKA The Girl in the Orange Necklace) first came to our attention in the snow of Oslo in 2009 and went on to release one of the most stunning releases in the albums catalogue. Channeling Joni Mitchell and Hanne Hukkleberg by way of the Bloksberg, Vermeer creates beautiful piano and cello led songs.

The Little Hands are the spin off musical vehicle of Sjur from Monzano who eschews the icy electronics in favour of country hued hoedowns and acoustic led pop bathed in lashings of pedal steel, piano and a sense for lyrical detail that recalls the likes of Bright Eyes and Elliot Smith

Bonkers hardcore from Elverum, Norway. TWP is built around the core duo of Uno Moller (Team Me, Wintermare) and Andreas Westhagen (Eye Emma Jedi). The band blend hardcore electronics with screamo metal to conjur up references to Sucioperro, Rolo Tomassi and Blakfish.

Uno Moller is a musician from Norway. Currently touring the globe with Team Me and Hard Rockin with hardcore 2 piece Twin Pines Mall. Over the past three years, Uno has released a steady stream of singles, eps and full length albums to growing critical acclaim.
